3-screw .44 Magnums are rare in this part (seem to find a lot more in .45 Colt), but I finally found one locally. Its a '70 model with 7.5" barrel, unconverted in what looks to be fairly decent shape. Medallions are worn off, but grips are correct....would $475 be too much?

I thought it was reasonable, especially considering you can't really even get into a NW SBH for that price.

Seems like an okay deal to me. However, might be a GREAT deal 'cause how often does a fella see one for sale locally??

Lawyers here have people scared about 3 screws. Some gun stores will not take them in trade. You can pick them up in the 250-500. Last SBH 3 I bought paid 325 OTD.

So what is the scare of the 3 screw? Colts and clones are full of screws!

Guess I aught to move to GA. Finding 3-screw Blackhawks in 45 Colt around here is like looking for hen's teeth. (smile)

I saw that one listed it is a 2hr ride for me...(wish I saw them in .45, guess I need to find out where he is seeing them)..I passed on it because I already have a '70...price is way fair for this area.
