3 for 3 on carpenter bees

I have a carpenter bee trap on my deck that works. They crawl into a hole in a piece of wood mounted on the deck and go down into a screw on plastic bottle. They check in but cannot check out. Probably a dozen dead bees in the bottom of my trap now. Not as much fun as a 22 with rat shot though.

Yeah I need to get or make a couple of those. One for the front porch and one for the deck out back.

i need to make one or more of those for my wood-shed. That is the only place around our house that I've seen them attacking. WE're pretty deep in the woods, maybe the go more for the trees.

Well, my 6 acres is covered with trees, I don't see the little buggers buzzing around them, just my porch.

We have been in this house since '81. Two "whitefaced bumble bees" have appeared each summer since we have been here. Have seen no destroyed anything anywhere in all that time.
