.22 SP101 With Partial Underlug

I want to view a picture of a SP101 with the partial underlug that some of the .22's came with. I've been searching the back posts but so far have come up short. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I know I've seen one somewhere in the past, but it has eluded me so far.

I always thought one of those bored out and re-chambered in 38 Spcl would have been an ideal lite weight field gun. Sort of an S&W M10 done the Ruger way.

I have thought the same thing for years. And, in my opinion, that is another opportunity that Ruger squandered. It would have been the perfect trail gun.

I bought this one in 1994 and then spent $250.00 to have it engraved. My wife considers it her gun. She is a good shot with it, but so am I.

I like the full underlug ones. Have a 2" and a 4" in .22. Also have a 2" 357 DAO and a .32 H&R 3 1/8" barrel. They are all great shooters.

I was at the Orlando gun show this weekend and saw a full underlug for $700 and a half-lug for $795 :shock: .

I paid about 2/3 that for mine.
