The grip angle is fine but way too thin. Does anyone make panels you can install for thickness? Have some on my trap and sc guns made by DeeZee than just adhere with sticky glue. Haven't seen a source for this one, any ideas?

no one that we are aware of, specifically makes a grip for the 22/45,but we have seen guys put 'slip on' finger groove grips from other models of firearms....also we have seen where a 'smith' had mounted (drilled and tapped both sides, two screws and put similar to 1911 grips over the molded frame of the Ruger...that too "worked" but was on the "large" ( wide) side for us.

Since it is a molded gripframe, there are not any screw holes nor an easy grip replacement. As Dan mentioned, you can use a slip over grip adaptor to help a bunch. You can also add skateboard tape to the grip or even both.
Some folks have milled off part of the gripframe to where it was "flat" and then installed regular 1911 grip panels as well.

There is a guy on another forum that is making some 1911 style grip panels that fit right onto the 22/45's. They can be fastened with screw or double sided tape. He also makes magazine bumper pads. I haven't used them but the photos look good and everyone that has bought them is very happy with the fit and quality. If you want his contact info, PM me.

i have a set of these, and like them-

I have a set of grips & extended base pads on 4 mags for
my MKIII 22/45. They are great except they usually need
a little trimming of mold flash which can be done with a
utility knife. The grips help greatly when you have large
hands. The extended base pads on the mags make it much
easier to insert the mags fully into the opening.
