2005 Shot Show Pictures

Gentlemen,
Does anyone on the forum who attended the 2005 show, have any pictures or serial number notes of the New Model Flat Tops displayed at their booth?

Whew,,, 2005,,, I don't know if I still have all that. I had a lot of old info in a computer that died. If I had it,,, I sent the info to Chad. I'll look,,, but no promises.

My reason for asking for this info is, I own NVB-34-50, serial #U520-00515 the only known (reported) "U" gun in this model.
The revolver was made (test fired) on 1-21-2005 one week before the Shot Show on 1-28-31-2005, and according to my letter from Ruger it was used as a "trade Show" gun that was stamped with the "U" upon its return to Ruger and shipped out in January 2005 as a used gun.

I believe that it is very possible that it was made up for the Shot Show and displayed there,,but need a picture or serial number notes to confirm.
The serial number also leads me to believe this due to Rugers policy of not using the first 500 numbers of the serial number range till a later date, this gun numbered 520-00515 could very well be the 15th revolver made that year. I also own NVB-34-50 #520-00030 which was made later that year.

The RENE lists my gun #U520-00515 as the only "U" gun reported, so that info could very well have came from Tyrone's notes to Chad way back then, with no mention of the Shot Show.

Terry, not the only one known. Peggy has U520-00572. She also has the 44 mag to match the serial number but is not U marked. She would like to find a U marked 44 and D marked 357.

So far,,, I'm coming up empty.
I do know that I didn't use a camera back then. I'm hoping that Chad kept the notes! But I'm not giving up. It may be in my files in my handwritten records of odds & ends!

Shoots that guess down,,, :wink: Made on 1/21/2005 and shipped by the end of the month as a "used" gun.
