Here is a package you don't see every day. Model S32X Buckeye Blackhawk convertible with cylinders in both in 32-20 Winchester and .32 H&R. Scarce revolver with rare 2-digit serial number and even rarer error label on the yellow box and corrected rubber stamp on the shipper. These were a special edition for Buckeye Sports in Ohio back in the 1988-89 timeframe and have the Ohio buckeye flower roll engraved on the top strap. These revolvers were also built with steel grip frames instead of the typical alloy frame. When these guns first came out, they were mistakenly cataloged as an extension of the SSM Single Sixes, and they were given catalog number SSM-6X. But it quickly came to someone's attention that these are actually Blackhawks. So the catalog number was changed to S32X, but not before a few labels were printed with the SSM-6X Single Six designation and applied to some boxes. The RENE estimate is that there were around 200 of the SSM-6X labels used. Many of the outer shipping sleeves with the SSM-6X stamp were corrected by crossing out the first stamping with black marker, then over-stamping with the revised S32X stamp. This 2-digit revolver (serial number 64) has both the SSM-6X yellow box label and the corrected SSM-6X on the shipper with S32X over-stamp. Another interesting error that was made with the Buckeyes is that because these were a special order, Ruger neglected to withhold the first few hundred guns for the low serial number subscription program, which is why the error labels that were used on the first guns ended up on such low numbered examples (with most models, the subscription guns were actually assembled later than the first few batches of "revenue guns" since the subscribers bought them at cost and often not terribly quickly). So many subscribers were unable to buy their Buckeye because it had already been shipped to Buckeye Sports and sold. Condition is near new with all packaging. Tough to find and nearly impossible to upgrade.

##### WITHDRAWN ##### $1800 shipped FFL to FFL
I have decided to keep this one after realizing a memory error regarding my other SSM-6X labeled box.
I was thinking that my lower 2-digit gun had this label, but it does not.
Instead, my other one with this label is a 3-digit gun that does not have the shipper.
So, I will be swapping my 3-digit collection gun for this one.
Then I will list the 3-digit gun for a lower price.
The 3-digit does have the SSM-6X Single Six yellow box label, just no shipper.
