[/list] I have a New in box, with manual, Unfired 1996 Ruger Vaquero 44-40 NRA Edition, Confirmied by Strum Ruger Co., and
I would like to know what it is Worth and the number that was made.
SN 56-13051, production ID BNV406.

Here's what I have on that one, from the Ruger reference:

BNV-406 "Friends of N.R.A." issue. This model has an NRA medallion in the right grip panel (possibly inset by "Friends of N.R.A.") and a Ruger silver eagle medallion in the left grip. 550 made. Known s/n range 55-99260 to 56-13146. Rare. Note that at least 21 BNV-406 that remained unsold to "Friends of N.R.A." events during 1996 were shipped through normal distribution channels (with Ruger medallion in both grip panels) in July 2006. The following serial numbers and serial number blocks are known of this variation: 56-03965, 56-03986, 56-12924 to 56-13050 and 56-20774 to 56-20810.

The last RENE price guide had the BNV-406 come out at $605 NIB, but remember this gun has several things going for it. It is estimated that maybe only 10% of total old style Vaquero production was in .44-40...and a 6-1/2" barrel on a Vaquero is a non-standard barrel length.
