I've been wanting one of these for a while. Found one in excellent condition with the complete package.

Not that I'm aware of …. Just the "model" KRH or RH

Very nice figure on your grips. Seems to me a lot of the blued Redhawks got the better grips. Many Redhawk grips from that era are very plain jane

On a related note, my 5.5 inch 357 came in a box plenty long enough for the 7.5 inch. But both my 41's ( 5.5" ) came in a box "just right" in length. I'm guessing they just used what was handy cause the end label on my long box is correct.

Those Uncle Mike's grips are the bomb when shooting hot loads!
Gotta have 'em for my wrist-snappers. The factory wood ones came off within a week.

I've tried all of the rubber one's over the decades to mitigate heavy recoil, both style of Pachmayr's, the Hogue's, etc.
None of them work as well as the $20 Uncle Mike's. I can't believe they stopped producing them, thank God I found my set about 20 years ago.

Yay more .41's! Now that the 10mm has seen a resurgence maybe it's time the .41 "tweenie" got another look see by shooters.

A friend once said, (paraphrased) "The .44 magnum has made more flinching, recoil sensitive blithering idiots than any other caliber or gauge".

Maybe, maybe not but I can say is if shooters can handle a .357 and wanted to step up a notch they'd be better off going up to a .41 than a .44.

Yep, better get the wallet out when you see one. Seems like just about all .41's are getting a premium nowadays. I'd think that Ruger or one of the big distributors would take note and solve the problem.

.41 is one of my favorite revolver cartridges. What may help this redheaded stepchild is if SAMI would recognize the .41 Special as a viable cartridge. I would buy one. I have a S&W 57, OM BH and NM BH, only manufacturer making ,41 Special brass is Starline, and they are on limited runs.

Yes they are! I have a set of four 5.5" stainless Redhawks (357, 41, 44.& 45) and swap my ONE set of Uncle Mike's between the 41 and 44 when taken to the range. The 357 and 45 have factory wood grips and a Tyler T grip and are fired with mild to mid range loads just for fun.
I'm always looking for another set as a spare. You know what they say in the military, "Two is one and one is none".

I purchased a used blued Ruger Redhawk in .44mag with a 7 &1/2 in. barrel. around 15 years ago and it's definitely a handful! Mine came with a scope as well. A stainless would be nice too but there's something about the blued ones. Mine has beautiful wood grips as well.

I have a nickeled S&W Model 29 Classic in .44 mag as well (with gorgeous wood grips) ) with a 4" barrel and that one is definitely uncomfortable to fire it is gorgeous but not practical. I'm glad that my Redhawk has a long barrel. Handloads for the Smith are not recommended but the Ruger can handle them just fine. They are built like a tank!
