1972 Security Six, in the box

Stopped by LGS that I hadn't been by in a while. They had a first year Six, 4", blue, in the box. Box looked in good shape, gun looked to be in excellent condition, though I didn't handle it.
Price tag of $650. Seemed steep to me, though that opinion might be jaded by the overall pricing at this particular shop.
Thoughts?

A lot would depend on the condition (LNIB, NIB, etc.) and the serial number (the lower the number the higher in price). If in excellent condition and a VERY low s/n, $650 is not necessarily too much. If it were a 2 digit s/n (150-00099 and below, the value goes up pretty quickly.

First year six, what did the box look like, if in the white box and all original, that is a bargain....
