1968 the Summer D.C. riots, in the back of station wagon watching as we tried to cross Washington on old Route 50 from Virginia to Maryland.

Good to be a kid, because you didn't understand the danger we were in. ;)

I have DVD set that has one DVD, four Dragnet shows and other with three or four detective shows like Petter Gunn. All include commercial. I timed the Dragnet one time and the commercials totaled about 2.5 minutes of that half hour show. There rest was all story. These days it seems like ten minutes of show and twenty minutes of commercials. Just one more reason why I dropped TV.

Gotta get me some of that Aqua Velva

And I was waiting for the "cigar, cigarette, Tiparillo" ad. Or the "should a gentleman offer a lady a Tiparillo?" ad.
