Just got my carbine into a proper stock. The original had been hacksawed and butchered beyond repair. Thanks to Flattop44 for coming through with the stock.

Serial number is 4,78x

I recently did a last second lowball bid on one on Gunbroker and won it for a great price but the lone picture isn't clear. The dealer said it is very nice and he even says it shoots very well. For the price I paid I won't be able to complain too much if something unexpected shows up. It is fun waiting to find out what vintage it is as none of that was listed. I just want a big bore fun gun so not too worried as long as it is functioning and reasonably sound.

Got one of these beauties myself, with 240 grn winchesters or remingtons they are death and destruction on deer.
Waiting to try it on the pigs in Florida soon. Already have taken hogs w/redhawk 44mag and blackhawk convertible in .45colt.
