Came across this nice little gem. Shows some honest wear and use, but not too bad overall and priced right.

These pistols bring back a memory for me. I grew up in Southern Iowa on a farm back in the 1950's. I had a cousin that when the families got together for dinner afterwards we would take off and roam the woods. My Dad and his two brothers had farms adjoining so we had a lot of adventures. I always remember one afternoon when we were doing this and we heard gun shots from the oldest uncle's house so we approached it and was on a hill in the timber above the house. We sat and watched and it was an older cousin who was shooting a .22 pistol. I wasn't old enough to be seriously interested in guns then but years later after I had become a gun enthusiast I know that it would have been a 4 inch barreled Ruger standard semi-auto as I remembered it was very similar to a Luger pistol in appearance. It's funny how you can remember something like that which happened probably 70 years ago like it was yesterday, yet I struggle to remember much about a wedding or something similar that happened only a year ago or so.
