So I really am curious about what I've found. I'm cleaning up from a friend who has passed, most everything I know what it is or can easily find out. This has me stumped. Same dimensions as a Ruger .22 cylinder it has a paw & pin with it.
If anyone has any knowledge of this I would appreciate being educated. Might add that reason for posting here is He was a Ruger collector and exhibitor so thinking this was made for a ruger by someone.
Thanks

First thought is High Standard / JC Higgins had those.
Haven't done any searching on line yet and been a long time since I owned one but ….. maybe. ❓❓

The High Standard that I shot many years ago was a 9 rnd , which is all I've been able to find on line. All the Uberti and U. S. Firearms I've found are fluted cylinders. Guess if I can't find identify it, it will make a good paper weight.

This doesn't resemble a USFA 12-22 cylinder - yours seems to have recessed chambers for the .22 cartridge rims, and it's not blued.

Clements Custom used to do 10 shot conversions on Single 6's, not sure about 12 though. But why not?

The pawl included is a big deal, as ya need a modified pawl for altered capacity cylinders. The pin is throwing me off though, may a hammer plunger, as they have to be modified as well.
