Can't someone make this a sticky? Good stuff. Would be nice to have a section of the forum to track serial numbers of some older models.

My vote for this to be a sticky also. The search function cooperated enough to find it again. :D

Add 18772 shipped August 1959. Also, 23819 is a factory second without an "S" mark. This 44 was originally shipped and returned to Ruger in May 1960 and shipped again in April 1965.

I will be the first to admit I can be a stick in the mud...give me normal, un molested Rugers, not to nice, shooters, 4-5/8" and I am happy...Up untill last week when the above .44/10" came along, well this week....ANOTHER one made it's self available....#21347 is now here, although a little rough around the edges..shows some signs of pure neglect and abuse..grips are bruised some, but for a '59 she ain't bad.

24003/21347 have shown me a new appreciation for "Long Revolvers"...:)

#23637 purchased today, with paperwork showing a Myrtle Beach owner sending it back to factory in 1984 for safety conversion. (I hate you, Bob.)
