You can add my 23294 and 23295 to the list. I have had 23294 since I was 17! It was my second Ruger; 1st was a LWSC when I was 16. Chad helped me pair it up with 23295 over 20 years ago. I noticed the old post from Chad. I want to correct him. One, I was not in the Service, I only lived near Killeen/Ft Hood.
Dave and I bought these 10 inchers from Hack's Army Store in Killeen. Same place I got the LWSC. My Dad went with me on the first one. Hack sold me the 10" when I was 17, since he knew me pretty good!. My, how things have changed.

Hey...that's 205 10" .44 numbers now!
What's crazy is there's more of those noted now than than the number of SC4's made (200).

Well, considering there were about 1500 BKH40's made, perhaps this isn't too surprising.

Those big ol' ten-inchers are pretty hard to miss, while it's not real commonly known about the scarcity of short Super Single-Sixes. Thus the "shorties" are less sought-after,

;)

Well, I put it in the other list before seeing this one, so anyway, Number 20985 just sold today at the Rock Island Auction House in Illinois, for $2250, but you got a 4 digit 357, a OM 91/2" Single Six and a New Model Bearcat with it, pretty good deal I was thinking.

Can't someone make this a sticky? Good stuff. Would be nice to have a section of the forum to track serial numbers of some older models.
