It looks like the magazines are dummys and don't work... I guess the rifle or pistol still uses the factory 10 rounder up under the dummy... kind of hard to know.

Seems like it would be more practical to just put a 50 round drum mag on them or a 25 or 50 round regular mag... would not quite look authentic I guess... but then when you fire it..... will not quite be the same as 45acp.

Isn't there a real after market drum magazine for the 10-22? Seems I saw one somewhere? Gun digest, the magazine, maybe.........? Frankly< I like this set up better than the new Ruger black gun variation..........But then, maybe expected, based on seven decades in the Harness......" a little chafed, but still pulling" 8)

Black Dog Machine is making a drum that can be set up for the 10/22... my MWG tear-drop drums run fine... and I actually like the straight-up fit better than the BDM angled style. I'm not sure why BDM did it that way, as they also make drums for the PPS-50 and they fit straight up.

In any case the Tommy Gun kit is first rate, and I really enjoy mine.

This looks exactly like the old Commando MK III made by Volunteer Enterprises of Tennessee in .45 ACP back in the 70's. It was a semi-auto and a lot of fun to shoot!........................Dick

It is pretty but the clear plastic mag just doesn't quite fit. I think I would have to try the die method someone posted a while back to at least give it a smoked look.

The mag is now painted matte black (Krylon Fusion for plastics)... I just need to update my pics. :D

For $300 it better be!!

Neat toy, that!

:)

If my Dad was alive he would be weeping over this gun. He got his out of Europe at the end of the war. But, he caught me putting the stock back on it up in the attic when I was 12. The next day he donated it to the local police department. :(
