The Two I have made in 1990 with the 233 Prefix and 1200 made at the time, not sure who the distributor was. I also saw one made more recent I will try to find it again.

The DZII was never called a Jacaranda as far as I know....it was called Desert laminate II. Only the JZ was called a Jacaranda.

From the 2/10 Reference:

10/22RB-DZII (Ruger model 1111) special distributor model. Features red, walnut and green color laminate. 1,200 made for Point Sporting Goods Co. in 1990 (known s/n range 233-04036 to 233-06431); 1,000 made for Point Sporting Goods Co. in 1991 (known s/n range 234-26801 to 234-39775); and 750 made for Simmons Gun Specialties, Inc. in 1992 (known s/n range 235-70078 to 235-79303). Approximately 2,950 made in the three different production runs plus approximately 80 factory "clean-up" guns (236-8xxxx s/n range).

But the JZ models are made for Big Rock Sports (CSI, MT Sports and Henry's).

The DZ-ll is the 9th from the right in the first picture and the JZ is the 3rd and 4th in the second picture.
