Does anyone own a Tapco stock for their 10/22? I'm curious how you mounted your scope. The rails on this model seem to be way too far forward.

Any advice?

A traditional scope will have to be mounted on the receiver. There should be a rail in the box. A dot sight can be mounted on the forend rail and it actually works rather well. I mounted one on mine for a short time just to see if it would hold zero and it did fine. I just don't like how it narrows the field of view.

your not going to be able to use a scope like that mounted in that position. theres not long enough eye relief. its for a light a red dot or laser.
