10/22 magnum

I'm having a difficult time getting the clips out of my 10/22 in 22 magnum. Does anybody have a solution for this problem

Factory stock?

Are the mags hanging up, or are you just having trouble with the release?

Most after-market mag releases sold for the 10/22 will work in the 10/22M as well.

maybe the well is too tight on the sides... it is a pain to get the mags out of my charger... one day I'm going to trim it a little but so far I've just lived with it.

I'm not sure how you are trying this, but I use the gravity method on mine. Just hold gun right side up and push the button upward. If its a Ruger mag it should drop right into your hand.
The method Ruger uses for the magazine release is pretty positive, so I'm not sure what else might be binding up your mag.
