I have the 9c and love it. My choice would be an SR9 so that I can use the same mags. I have a lot of .45's but no .40's. If they had an SR45 or 45c I'd buy one.

My problems with 115 WWB come mostly from 9mm 1911 5 inchers. The WWB is light on power and just doesn't want to cycle the slide consistently. You start seeing FTE's that should never have happened.

I keep WWB around to try in new guns. I figure if they eat WWB they will probably eat most anything.

I'm nearing 750 rounds now and the slide release has loosened up considerably. I'll run it a thousand before deciding whether to do the work, but I can see now that it is a fairly simple process. BTW, this is one of the friendlier forums I've been on. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Wondered if the SR9 10 round California magazines will fit flush in a SR9C? On the Ruger website it appears as if the lower portion of the mag is simply a spacer that can be removed. The reason I ask is that CDNN has 10 round SR9 mags for 20 something but I don't want them if they won't fit...
