    Ruger Blackhawk Grips

Chig's Grips does a great job at custom grips and they don't break the bank. He will make them custom fit to your grip frame or fit to one of his. You can pick the wood blank from his website and the cost includes the fitting.

    Beat up 44 Super Blackhawk

Well used doesn't necessarily mean it was fired a lot. If you don't have reason to believe something is wrong with it, I wouldn't send it in. Hopefully, in that condition you got a really good deal on it (like new ones are selling dirt cheap right now). I like the worn look, it adds character.

    Aftermarket Grips

There is no round vs square discussion on Bisley grips. Your gun is a Bisley frame, buy Bisley grips. There is no square trigger guard Bisley.

Bought a gun for the grips

I bought this SBH a few months ago just for the grips too. I got it for an awesome deal even if it hadn’t had the stags. I didn’t need another 44 but I couldn’t pass it up.

HELLLP!, the age-old grip-frame issue, & Redhawk-Rubbers... (*grips, that is-), Calling on ALL folks for info/commentary/2-cents/help/advice/knowledge

The original Pachmayr "Presentation" grips for a Redhawk are very large. I have large hands (2xl gloves) and they are almost too big for my hands. I can just reach the trigger with the tip of my index finger (double action mode)

$338 haul from Bass Pro today

Do it yourself home Cerakote will work fine on the grip frame or just strip it and leave it bare aluminum like a lot of people do.

    QC Fail on Taffin 45

You are assuming they were fit at all. Probably taken out of a bin and screwed on by a person hired two days earlier. Unfortunately that’s manufacturing in today’s world

    SRH TRIGGER WEIGHT

Wolfe makes a spring kit for the SRH. Changing the trigger return spring can help but be careful going too light on the mainspring or you will get light primer strikes

    480 stainless Bisley

    I bought a 6-1/2" one a few years back for $650. I sold it later when I found a 4-5/8" for a good price.

    480 stainless Bisley

Yeah, I saw that when it was listed. Price is way high. Even the rarer 4-5/8" wont bring close to that.

    480 Ruger Cylinder

I don’t think Fermin will do the transition.
