    johnhb2...As with any gun repair, clean and lube is always a good first step. I would be very surprised if the shell was the cause of your problem. If after clean and lube you still have problems lets talk more on this. R S Remembering Bill Ruger.

    johnhb2....To answer your question, when you open your shotgun two rods in the lower frame are pushed back by the ejectors. If the gun was fired the rods force the hammers back. The resistance of cocking the hammers preloads the ejector springs and this snaps the shell case from the barrel...

    Sear spring for Red label

    New member needs help. I have 12 gauge Red Label in my shop with a broken sear spring. As you know Ruger does not support the older shotguns. Numrich Gun Parts is sold out, Midway and Brownells do not stock. Do any of the members have ideas where to get springs? R S Remembering Niel Knox.
