I think you are right darkwater- big demand for the LC9 and the like. For under $400 with a factory laser the LC9 has to be a huge seller. Personally, I would feel a lot better knowing that is she ever needed it, my wife has access to rock solid always-go-bang revolver, but what do I know.

Sadly it is a moot point for a while. A few dealers I have talked to say Ruger has ceased SP101 production for 2012. I am happy to have landed one for $489. A bird in hand....

Cypress Armory is getting a few 3".357 sp101's in shortly (few weeks). $462. John is a good guy to work with. I ended up getting the last one at Kentucky Gun Co instead for more money because I couldnt/wouldnt wait (gift for my wife).
