Lol yes it was a rubber mallet. Funny thing was after i was having issues with my gun putting it together, i called my gun shop for assistance and they were like "oh no you shouldn't have taken it apart..". after 2hrs i got it together!! Turns out i had to hammer the muzzle with a mallet which allowed me to remove the housing.- al3x

guys i just got a ruger mk3. gun shot great today and when i attempted to disassemble the gun via removing the housing latch, i was not able to. i did not have access to a wooden dowel to hammer the bolt pin out so i decided to reinsert the latch back in. it closed but now i am unable to...- al3x
