+/- 12,000 rifles built 2003-2004. They stopped 94/17 and 94/22 production at the same time. I have the 94/22 and the 94/22 Magnum- both bought from guys on here. Looking for the trifecta.

however... I will share this little slice of my experience collecting. I recall several $5000 - $10,000 finds I passed on in the past that I regret. some that have doubled and tripled in value make me want to kick my own for letting them go. Navy roll marked m1911s, Willi Korths, Belgian Brownings, etc.

Thanks killer, but I am beyond collecting guns- every one I have is now a hunting gun or it is sold. I see really nice ones occasionally and they sell for $1400-1500. That’s what I’m looking for. Or maybe one that isn’t super nice even, just a presentable working gun.

I was given a 9422 in February 1973,
9422 was first made in December 1972.
I bought a 9422 mag two years ago from a neighbor.

It’s my fault. I’ve been on the road a lot this past week (I’m a volunteer hospital van driver as many here know), delivering and picking up young kids in the 4- state area. He sent me pics and details but I couldn’t get it to open until I got back home. He’s been waiting on me to see the pics and respond, which I did late yesterday after getting to my computer.

Guess you were right. I got home and committed but he said he had it listed for $200 more on another site and a guy was considering it. He said he’d let me know either way Monday. Tuesday the ad disappeared and I never heard anything lol.
