Greetings All!

This forum popped up during some of my "google research" on revolvers, glad to have found and look forward to wading through the historical content as I familiarize myself with the forums. Am happily retired and have a modest collection of rifles, shotguns, revolvers and pistols. I spend a lot of time in the African bush with my sons who are all super keen on shooting, hunting and fishing like their old man

I own several Smith & Wessons, a bunch of Colts, Brownings and a lot of Rugers. I also have a number of English SxS's, and a number of Mauser rifles, I enjoy stock work and have done a number of London oil hand-rubbed rifle & shotgun stocks.

Looking forward to expanding my knowledge here and swapping stories with you all... few pics from my gun room below

Greetings. Are you of Dutch Boer heritage? South African Boer Mausers are hard to find here in the states. Highly collectable.
Glad to see you can still personally own firearms in South Africa.
I have a British Enfield No4 Mk2 with South African proof marks. The letter U with a broad arrow inside.
