Anyone have any experience with the Finger Loops Systems Finger Loop-4 for Ruger Mark IV pistol ?
The Tandemkross Halo Charging ring is out of stock everywhere. Finger Loops Systems is cheaper and does look nice.

Thanks
Rick

I've never had a problem manipulating the bolt just using the ears, but I don't do any timed competition, or action games, either.

I'm squirrelly about sticking my fingers in loops like that, around firearms. My feelings come from seeing folks with their fingers stuck through the trigger guards in "red guns" during weapon retention training. It's not really relevant to this discussion, but it's just stuck in my mind! 😳

Looks like a quality piece, and not too terribly expensive. I think you should buy it, test it, and report back here! 👍

If it doesn't work out for you, you can always resell it here, and cut your losses. Worst case scenario, you'll be able to answer your initial question!

I'm glad there were photos and further explanation, as I had no idea what he was talking/writing about.

I was sort of expecting to see a lever action rifle.

Might be handy if a fella were missing a thumb …. Never heard of them until now.

It's a popular upgrade among the action steel shooters also I see a few Bullseye shooters using them. I hardly ever use the bolt release when shooting and when dry firing with snap caps actuating the bolt is a lot easier.

I enjoy shooting NRA Precision Pistol ( Bullseye ) which is one hand only. I do a lot of Dry Fire Practice at home, usually 50 dry fires a day. I use Plastic Snap Caps so not to damage the breech. Every round must be cycled by hand to set the trigger. After 50 rounds the bolt serration's start to wear on my fingers.
Hopefully this bolt add on will help.

To me it looks like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
Actually this system has helped greatly with my problem. As you get older and start losing hand strength and manual dexterity even "simple" tasks become more difficult. I have not needed this on my MKII yet. But it has been absolutely necessary on my Buckmark. Old age brings it's own set of problems.
