It's been a long time since i posted here, having a hard time and selling most of my collection.

This one seller on gunbroker will be selling alot of guns over the next few weeks for me.

There are other rare ones coming up. She also has a KP93 REM i am selling listed. An early SRH454 alaskan, serial #66, a few all have the same 66 serial number.

Thanks for looking.

That link will take you to all her auctions, not all are mine.

I have listed now a P89M, SRH454 #66, Rare athens olympic mark ii, P93Rem, P97, SP101 in .357, mkiii hunter #66

In total i sent 25 guns, but don't know when they will be listed. P91,p94,p944,sr345,kp94l, some rifles as well.

Thanks for looking!

What else do you know about the P89M pistols? I had read the Chicago PD bit in the RENE ref and it said that all the known guns were all blue, then in the GB ad it says one of 10 made in blue. RENE says the following:

Blued stainless PP89M Chicago police special contract pistol. The city of Chicago did not want a P93 marked pistol which signified them as being "compact" in size, so they were produced by request from Chicago with "P89M" rollmarkings. Known s/n range 306-08349 to 306-22384. Unknown quantity produced although it is known that at least 55 pistols were shipped through normal non-law enforcement channels. It is not known if the model KPP89M represents the same model described in this paragraph. Extremely rare.

So Chad is aware of the KPP89M but has no info on it. I recently got one marked P89M with a stainless slide and wonder if this may be the unknown KPP89M. This gun's SN is a few thousand lower than the low end of the stated P89M range in RENE. My thought is that this earlier gun may have been rejected by CPD due to the silver slide and parts and Ruger went back and made the contract guns with blue parts (or blackened stainless as Ruger has been known to do). This gun did come out of IL.

...and Ruger went back and made the contract guns with blue parts (or blackened stainless as Ruger has been known to do)...

The P89M I bought years ago had a dark black slide, and the barrel left bright. It lettered as a "KP-89MW", was shipped by Ruger to a small town near Chicago in 1995, and was sold to me from that same area.

You don't see these pop up for sale very often! If I had some "fun money" available, I would definitely be bidding!

As always IMHO, FWIW, YMMV, etc., etc.
:)

I guess I should pop for a letter on mine, there is no end label on the box, so I have no model info on it other than the slide stamping. I just got it two days ago on Friday.

I do have a blackened stainless Security Six that was a test gun sent to the Secret Service, which is why I mentioned Ruger had been known to do that.

This wouldn't be the first model Ruger made for LE with a little subterfuge to fool certain people. I have a Speed Six made for the Western Australia Police special forces (like SWAT) unit and they were allowed to carry .357 Mags when regular officers were restricted to .38 Specials, so those guns had no caliber markings (and in fact said "W.A. POLICE" on the barrel where the caliber was normally marked) so as not to make the regular duty officers jealous at the range,

My P89M is noted by the Ruger SN lookup as a model # 3092 but I don't know the numerical models and the RENE Ref doesn't have it.

Thank You to everybody for the well wishes. And thank you for looking at the auctions. I'm trying to ignore them, as its bittersweet.

This morning was the first I've checked on them. Thank you to anyone who has bid and good luck, the P89m has gone far over what i thought it might. The other auctions are all doing very well especially considering they all have days left.

The only one im surprised isn't getting more attention is the Kp93 with REM finish, the P93 series is tied with the P95 series as my favorite ruger pistols. This REM model was used to me and i never shot, i still have my plain Kp93 and have shot that alot.

I checked this morning as more of my guns were to be listed. I am not the seller locust fork, she is much better and more equipped to run the auctions. I let them choose when and how to list them.

Im going to start a second thread with the new auctions she has listed as all in this topic will be done on Sunday.

Thanks again for looking.

A KP94DL, factory laser equipped. The laser works and batteries were never kept in the gun. Before auction i purchased brand new batteries and asked her to let the next owner know they should be removed when not in use.

Also listed this week were a
Kp91dc, kp94, kp944, sr9 first production run with crkt special first production run knife. Kp345, kp90, a threaded 22/45lite, ruger lcr with laser. And a sp101 in 22 magnum.

This a link to all her auctions again where you can find all the above.
