MSRP on a new one is about $850 I think.
Haven't seen one locally for months and months ….. maybe a couple of years.
If you're stuck with on line buying prices will surely be higher.
Blue Book says $635 if It's 98% condition.

I also have a Blackhawk in .30Carbine.
Highly recommend everyone have at least one.
Fun to shoot cartridge with little recoil. Despite claims by other that it is an extremely loud cartridge in a revolver, I don't find it any louder than any magnum revolver round. I do wear electronic muffs when shooting which may be why I don't find it objectionable.

Thanks all. I guess it will make a good compliment to my M1 Carbine.
Yep :)

I have a newer production .30 Blackhawk , I put an old Made in Colorado Redfield pistol scope on it and it's like a little hand rifle. I shoot it to 100 yards and have hit steel at 200 with it

I want to find an older one to leave with Iron sights

Price guides put OM 30 Carbines at $750 in 98% condition.
I bought mine cause I already had an M1Carbine and yes, it's a nice compliment.
What's more ….. mine has a s/n in the 50xx range.

Many times the OM 30 Carbine will bring more than what the book says.

The 30 Carbine and shorty 41 Mag are my favorite single actions to shoot.

I bought an OM 30 Carbine several years ago and would suggest you watch case length closely. I trim after each firing as those cases do grow.

I have a cousin trying to sell me one, I shot it several years ago, if I remember correctly it was in good shape. His Ex bought it for him. Comes with at least 15 boxes of ammo and a leather holster and belt. Maybe I should buy it, but I keep telling myself I don't need yet another caliber to deal with. He was wanting $750 for everthing.

Hey Guys,
Keep in mind that you can shoot 32H&R Mag in old models and 32-20s and 32 mag in the new models I believe without any work.
I have shot 32s in my old model no problem. 32-20s will not work in the counter bored cylinder.
I knew 32-20 wouldn't work in my OM. I hadn't thought about 32 HR Mag. It appears 327 mag will work in the NM.

See post #5.
