I notice two of the knives are stamped "1st production run" the other is not. what is the difference?

Knife models, like firearm models, aren't continully made. They will make a batch (a "run") and then stop making that model and make something else. Then when they return to that model, it cannot be the 1st production run, it is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc production run. Many times (dare I say most), something marked or designated (maybe by serial number or some other marking) as a 1st production item will, to a collector, normally be worth (in the scheme of things) more because it was the first.

I know, by accident, there were a few auto versions of this knife released. Are they all stamped "1st production run" or would they have no markings

I googled until I was googled out. Could not find much information on these knives.
