Was at the gun show last weekend and ran across a stainless NM Super Blackhawk with a 10.5" barrel (KS410N). It also included a new box of .44 Magnum Extreme Penetrators. Towards the end of the show (before opening and near the end are my favorite times), I went over and was able to strike a bargin.

This is how I got it. Have yet to clean or go though it yet, but period correct walnut grips are already on their way. ;)

That's a rare early variation with the front sight base soldered to barrel and pinned in blade. Later variations had the screw on front sight assembly. I think your was only the first year of memory serves. Nice snag.

Very nice! I usually HATE rubber grips on a single action, but those actually don't look terrible. I assume they are Pachmeyers? Look way better than the Hogue, and I actually like Hogue on most guns, just not single actions.

Great Rodeo, Round em up! 😀

My notes; have around 2000 made ~1979.

All these guns were made in Southport, Connecticut, with most if not all fitted with broach-rifled barrels by George Wilson, also of Connecticut. (cr./David Bradshaw)

The ERH is standard length 4" which IMO makes the barrel look real long, -vs- The KS411N/ Bull barrel has the 5" ERH.

… and as mentioned the front sight difference.

I now only shoot 44 Specials in mine and the gun is very accurate, one of my most accurate Ruger's.
The Grips are a from the last days in business of Lett, The #5 Belt Mountain base pin is just because.

My first KS410N, I converted to Bisley and then traded it for a fixed sight 32 Bisley Single Six, while I still have the 32, I regretted turning loose of that gun and was sure happy when I found another.
Sorry for the water-mark … 🙄

Will have to check the front sight on mine. Used to shoot Silhouette with mine. The were known as "the silver hornpipe"
You beat me to it with the silver hornpipe. They were made to fit the silhouette rules were popular at the matches. Good competition gun for the money.

I'm with you 110% on that comment! I picked up a Stainless blackhawk that had rubber hogues on it and immediately took them off.
If anyone here wants them I will gift them for the cost of postage.
