Well, I'll add my post season report.

I keep trail cameras out for a few months AFTER the season to study the heard, the numbers, the general overall survival of whatever.

Well, I've identified 5 distinct bucks cruising my place frequently. (One of which I'm sure was the buck from my last day.) And I've also got a pretty fair number of does that choose to pass through.

As we say,,, "Next season!"

Yeah, I tell ya a funny short story, I never kept mine out was always worried about someone stealing it. So I was hunting on this place for a few years and never shot a thing never seen a single deer in 2 solid weeks of hunting. So I finally decided to do that.
Well, guess what. There was no pics on my trail cam either 😂 I think a raccoon or something. So I started hunting somewhere else 😂🤣.

I just had to say it! :D

All in fun!

As a serious hunter,, I've been skunked by hunting in the wrong places myself over the decades. It happens.
Luckily,, with game cameras,, it can help us try & prevent that occurrence. AND,, they can also reveal a truly secret, small hot spot nobody would think to look for a game animal.
