welcome from NE Ohio, my brother in law was a Master Chief in the Navy, and my cousin was a Coast Guard Doc way back in the early days...because the Coast Guard was using Ruger Mini -14s back in the late 70s I was able to shoot with my Mini-14 in a 'service rifle match' and I won the match against mainly .30 cal service rifles...Good to have you 'on board'.........(y)

Hello all. I am a veteran Chief of the U.S. Coast Guard. I have a few long guns and handguns. I belong to a motorcycle club so I love to ride and shoot, but not at the same time. The Ruger I own is a SR-556.
If you ever get up on the Eastern shore stop in at Northampton Firearms in Downtown Cheriton. Owned by an ex-squid and rider.

Let me add my welcome from Lynchburg up in Virginia's Piedmont Region. I do my riding on four wheels, but do put the top down in nice weather. ;)
Most of my Rugers are for use with one hand, but Dad left me a #1 in 22-250 to go after those pesky groundhogs we have here. Froggie
