Been dry awhile on finding anything interesting. All NIB KMK678G factory D&T. MK678G. Both with test target. KMK512GC Big Rock Sports model. Pretty scarce.

Kudos on your finding a "honey hole!" It does seem harder to find stuff we look for once we get most of the ones we seek.
I need to check my oddball spots again. Thanks for the reminder.

PS; You made me double check my guns. I have a KNK678GC & a MK678G.

Nice find!

And take note...hold onto the silver scope rail. Ruger doesn't make them in that color anymore, just black.

When I got my MkIII used, the guy didn't include the rail. Ruger replaced it for free (darn good of them!), but they only have the black ones.

Thanks for the info on the rails.

How much are the KMK512GC's worth now and how many were made?I have one I bought about 5 or 6 years ago, but just the pistol and 2 mags no box or anything else.
Gun and one mag just sold on GB a couple weeks ago for $605.00 + shipping. Don't have exact numbers in front of but I think around 1000 - 1500 made. But they don't come up for sale often.

I am picking up a few more in a couple weeks. One is a NIB MK678GC. He also is getting me a list of around 50 old model single actions he is selling. When I get it I'll send anyone the list that may be interested.

OP, please educate on your KMK512GC. I was thinking the 5-1/2" stainless was a regular manufactured pistol. Was it normally just in blue? Or does it have special grip panels?

KMK512GC to my knowledge was only made in the USST Olympic Models and the Big Rock Sports model. The blued variation is more common. But again I think only distributor models. I believe the MK512GC was just offered by Lipseys and Davidson Distributors.

Thank you! I didn't know that. I was under my thinking that the 5-1/2" slabs were just a normal run in stainless & blue. I have neither. I do have a blued 6-7/8" slab that to my knowledge was only made in two runs.
