What’s your bedroom gun?

I don't know how to post a multiple choice question so I'll limit it to the major choices. My concern is two things.
The first is noise in a bedroom.
The second is do you use a different gun in winter when people are wearing heavier clothes ( like Carharts) vs what people wear in the summer. Heavier clothing is an issue in the northern states.
I believe most people use
38 Special
357 Magnum
44 Special
9mm
40 S&W
45 ACP

Start with these then if you use something else, say so. I've never shot in a house room, but shot on a range with the sides open but a metal roof and that was bad enough.

Ruger p95 9mm. Year round .

M1 carbine, and 5" 1911. The .45ACP, being a low-pressure round (compared to 9mm and .357, etc.) is "relatively" quiet.

My own testing with a decibel meter showed me that the M1 carbine is similar in sound level to the 1911. (Note that this is NOT true when the .30 carbine round is fired in a shorter barrel such as the Ruger Blackhawk.)

20 ga Franchi 48L and S&W 1917. But the handgun changes regularly.

I don't worry about noise from my gun. It's noise from the other guys gun that concerns me, and the only thing I can do about it is to shoot first and last.

Suppressed AR9 PDW shooting sub-sonic 147 Federal HST's. It's still pretty loud in an enclosed space but virtually zero muzzle flash.

Bedroom, sleeping porch, TV Room, Living Room, in the dog walking bag, and also one that I carry on me when legal.

(consistency is the cornerstone of quality)

S&W Shield Plus 9mm daily carry, Glock 48 9mm bedside. Federal 124 grain HST year round.

Since it's just me now (my wife passed away two years ago), I now have a short barrel 870 pump in the corner next to my bed. Also have a Sig 9mm close by.

Ruger 357 Security Six 6 inch barrel.

Glock 17 at the bedside. Mossberg 500 in closet nearby loaded with 7 rounds of 00 Buck.

For me have the Ruger PC 9 w/17 rounds plus the Glock 19X pistol w/ 17 rounds. Have heard some stories about the PC9 not being reliable, but from my experience it is good to go from day one and remains that way today. Find both firearms as good as you can buy.
