Wow, yes that is nice. I like the barrel. It isn't a half shroud, but look like a 3/4 shroud. Like a GP 100 that went to fitness camp.
I've got a Ruger SP101 3" with sights. I got it off the classifieds from someone who sent it to Gemini. Came out really nice.

I saw this, would cover me for a blued Ruger and an SP in a barrel length I do not have. I really like the looks of this one. I should check in with my LGS, see what he can do for me. I noticed the other day he is open. Always closed on weekends though. I'll call first, with the stay at home stuff and working from home, I've got a little extra lunch time and he's only a couple of blocks away. Of course essential as well.

I'm going to check in with my local GS as well and order. MSRP is $719, hopefully street prices will be $650 or so. I'm going to get the Blued version, I do like Novak sights but I really like the half shroud. Be nice if they came out with stainless in the half shroud model as well

How much weight saved here? Appearance is another issue.

Went to my local GS, Lipseys had none in stock, they Lipseys, will not take back orders. I was quoted $620 before taxes. They did have the SS novak sights one, 60 or so, and he quoted $740. or so. Was tempted but I like the half lug, wht such a difference in price, because SS?
Everybody like something a little different, I just like the shape, the color, the sights, the esthetics......it'll do pretty much the same thing all my other SP's do as well, but if hard to get, then I'll likely not get one......so it goes...

Ha Ha. For me, high and low means in person where I can handle and examine one at gun shops/shows...Not watching them be bidded up to a week and a half's worth of my pay on Gunbroker. I DON'T need one that bad.
I've been wanting to find a Wiley Clapp for a while. Just haven't been lucky.
