I was looking for a single thread with just picture after picture of "Single Action Revolvers" (in Centerfire). Different configurations and lengths, grips, holsters, shooting them, etc, maybe a short description.

Any Ruger Single Action in centerfire.

Show us your Single Action Ruger (centerfire) Pictures. 😃

[I made a Single Action rimfire picture thread as well.]

Ha---Oops I am pretty sure must have read that as center fire and not single action.
At least I got it correct on the rimfire single actions.
Dazed and confused---I was walking out the door at 5:30am for a trip up the Gorge, when they closed it. Pretty much ruined my planned 2 day trip.

My favorite caliber has always been .45 Colt, and I have a few (although I shoot one of my Mark IIs far more frequently).

A 1971 vintage Blackhawk convertible:

A Lipsey's New Model Blackhawk Flat Top Convertible, with lighter Wolff springs and an SBF hammer, for easier one-handing:

A New Vaquero, with the classic Cavalry length barrel:

I am not a big fan of long guns, but I did follow Captain McNelly's lead and assemble this companion piece, with a custom 24" Match Grade Machine barrel:

If the scope looks like it is set too far back, it's because I have it set for offhand shooting. You can't do much long range shooting at an indoor range. If I could take it outdoors, I would have to reset it.

I reckon this one meets the single action centerfire parameters.

Ruger cast 6 Maxi frames in stainless but only completed 3 guns. This is the only one confirmed to have the 7.5" barrel. Another is confirmed to be 10". The third one is unknown as to length, so akin to Schrödinger's cat, it simultaneously has both a 7.5" and 10" barrel o_O

First is a 5.5" Ruger Blakhawk 45 Convertible, the second is a Ruger 6.5" Blackhawk over 55 years old! The pointed ammo in the belt are metal piercing bullets!
