reason there is no ammo is cause guys OVER prepared for ammo shortages which are caused by them
That is utter BS! The reason there is low availability on most ammo is thanks to COVID, when people quit going to work, and this led to ammo supplies dwindling, and the making of actual cartridges also. It has NOTHING to do with any kind of hoarding. Ammo shortage is across all calibers, handgun and rifle ammo.

It is actually starting to recover recently, both in availability and cost. But it still is no where near it was before COVID. Also, there is 6.5 Creedmoor ammo available now. I just checked my ballistics file. I have 100 online links for 6.5 Creedmoor ammo in my file, and there are quite afew with availability. If you want a copy of my latest ballistics file that has over 3,500 links for ammo online, just message me! It is a PDF file, and not really usable on a smart phone.

no your post is BS. there was a 6 year shortage of 22 RF and most other ammo when obama was president way before covid. there were primer shortages on and off for decades before covid. shortages are caused by gun owners. period

You are absolutely full of BS. I have a ballistics file which I have kept and maintained for about 10 years, and the real drop off in availability happened with COVID. And your political bashing is is just utter BS, and whisful thinking on you part. You are obviously extremely biased.

you can take your files and shove them. are you telling me there was no shortage of 22 rf and other ammo for over 6 years when obama was president? for 30 years primer shortages would pop up now and then. gun owners cause shortages

You two should take your urinating match to PMs or emails and spare the rest of us your drama and attitudes.

You're both fairly new here. Survey the "lay of the land" so-to-speak. This isn't the Politics Section and not how we generally have conversations.

I'd go Magpul. American-made quality products. Then get a good made-in-USA scope. That Vortex is Chinese, and not worth the money, IMO. I'm sure that will bring out the Vortex fanboys to try to beat me down, but I had two of those scopes and neither tracked as well as any of my domestic optics, nor was the glass as clear.

Only those that were buying during the panic. Myself? I have been buying and storing since after everything calmed down after Obama got in. And I had a lot stored well before that as well. When I say, buy it cheap, it means when there is a glut of it (primers/powders etc), not when everyone else is scrounging for it.

The stuff that I bought in 2015 didn't contribute to the fiasco of 2020, but it did allow me to ride it out without compromise. ;)

Every gun/ammo owner I know and I know a lot, are hoarders, including myself. When 'stuff' happens we all get extra busy stocking our gun rooms. Be it politics, bad weather( hurricanes, blizzards, floods….) and yes even pandemics like Covid and crappy lib economy.

Hello my name is Al. I am an ammo hoarder. I have been hoarding since 1990. I did not know I was a hoarder until some snowflake felt scared around men. Thank God for the 2008 recession and COVID! Now my Wife knows why I do the things I do. I am sure there are a lot of people here in that boat. Hoard away y'all!
