And yet again with the idiot loop lever. Not everyone is bucking for their own Alaska TV show. Give us the normal lever option all the 1895's please.

I think it is the best looking of all released so far, and God forbid, I even like the lever because it looks very ergonomic to use.

Great! I can see one of these living here some day. Wish the Marlins had saddle rings, the Rossi R92 rifles fixed up real fast with an order to Steve Young in Lampasas TX

I prefer to not have the enlarged lever, but in fairness, it's the most ergonomic and easy to use lever I've ever levered. Although enlarged, it's less so than some other big-lever models offered, especially from Winchester. So, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

The plywood stock however? Since they're now forced upon us, the stock on this model is at least closer to the right color, as opposed to mine that has the hideous silver and black tie-dye.
