Shot some Frontier ammo in my mini 14 today.

I could the fire flash in my scope. I don't see it with my hand loads. Im gussing they use a slower burning powder. Pretty cool to see though. .

I use 'Frontier' (both 5.56 and .223) HP match ammo and haven't seen much difference in accuracy or performance. Some rifles like one or the other and some don't seem to care. I do see a shift in POI with some rifles.

I didn't check it on paper for POI . I just shot the steel at the range. It was soon going to rain. So just wanted to play a little. I need to check with my hand loads too. I backed off the over all length on my loads. From 2.245 to 2.225. It was a good move too. My Pro-mags now work reliably.
