Another fox joins the litter

I have never thought that I could have accomplished this but I have found the seventh metal problem fox. Now I have one representation for each character in the book and also the original sculpture.

Rick,,, you are making me & Miss Penny say things that are not very nice. She's been looking all over for just (1) of these things.

I will say that I'm glad to see them rescued & living together,, but dern,, seven of them. Outstanding my friend!

Ty, I could feel my ears burning. In all honesty I relate this with pure s**t a*s luck. The web site and how it was listed I'm not sure anyone could have found it. But a little while ago someone showed one on a Facebook group and was looking for information. She said it was a garage sale find. I had replied but had no response and the thread was removed. About a month later I found it on a site that sells house hold goods ect. She had a very high price on it in my opinion so I made a fair offer. About a week later she replied and told me the story behind it. She had researched it and said she was shocked what she found out. She accepted my offer and the rest is history. I was amazed with myself when I aquired 3 let alone the original sculpture knowing how many and few that were known at the time. My goal was to get seven but never really expected to accomplish that. Tell Penny don't give up they are still out there.

I'm sure you earned that one as well my friend. Dedicated research & emails & other social media is a way to find obscure stuff sometimes. Miss Penny does a bit more of all that than I do,, but we both keep looking. Yard sales, thrift stores, auction sites, estate sales etc are all places we look for certain things. A few books, and the Fox is at the top of our lists.
Penny told me to tell you to leave her one in your will.
