P345 is my choice. Will outlast me and very probably my sons.

I did jump in on the new members forum, and mentioned I was going to revive this thread. Found it on a Google images search.

Just got a P95 in a trade. My brother had one 10 or so years ago, still regrets getting rid of it. I only ever held and shot his P95 once or twice back in 2010, but figured it'd be a neat throwback if nothing else. I'm actually really liking this thing.

My question is directly on this thread, about a P95 wearing a TLR-7. I have a TLR-7A I'd like to put on this and use it that way, just wondering how well they run with a TLR-7/A WML. I doubt it is a problem but I wanted to check, as some guns can be finicky with some lights. It's a 2009 P95 by Ruger's serial lookup, if there's any info about them from that time period that isn't good.

Thanks again!

I have 2 tlr7's and 2 trl7a's. The only difference is how you turn them on and off. I got the trl7's when they first become available and they work great. Later when the trl7a's came out I bought 2 of those. They are a big improvement. They are so much easier to turn on and off and somehow they improved the light output even though both put out 500 lumens. The light is much whiter as well instead of that yellowish tint the older ones put out. I took one off a glock and put it on the ruger just to show you. It fits great. I believe you will really like it. View attachment 5716

I appreciate it. I definitely know the TLR-7A is better, as you said. I was just wondering if the P95 ran well with the light attached. Most guns do just fine with it, and I'm sure the P95 does, too. I was going to take my TLR-7A off and put it on the P95 for the HD role. Wanted to ask those who have run a little ammo through the 95 with the WML and if it ran just fine.

Now just to find night sights. :)

I didn't fire it with the tlr7a on but I'm sure it will run fine. They sure run well on my glocks

Agreed on most, but the trigger isn't the worst DA/SA I've ever shot. Contrary for me, it's mid range for my experience. Sights are so 1996 and the mag release is... interesting... Nah, it works ok enough.
