Thanks for including a blade section for all here. Glad a newb had a bright idea. Believe members will enjoy a section that covers different knives including manuals, flippers, spring assist, and fixed blades from different makers. Fun to get opinions and discover new models for EDC or hunting. Have much to learn myself especially regarding the different stainless and carbon steels used in their construction. Some pricey and some cheap!

I to thank you for the blade section. I started collecting knives before my handguns. Many more than 52 years ago.
Thank me too as I suggested it. Only kidding but they were first on my list as a kid. Cheap folders with polished blades back then. Probably Schrade or Imperial. Long gone and building up a smaller collection of quality these days. Enjoying this section immensely myself.

Just found this area! How have I missed it? My grandpa gave me a folder at age 5, to take with us hiking. I lost that one in 2010 in my last divorce. Grrr! Thanks to LCP22LR for the insight. I love blades, their history, and uses. I have carried one everyday since age 8.

Enjoy the section myself. Folks have pictured some fine examples. Got back into knives just a few years back after collecting a ton of knives as a kid. Unfortunately only one left since a kid is that Puma Skinner I bought back in 67. Lots of great choices these days gramps! Notice the prices have increased a bit. LOL
