Hello All,

Just recently acquired a Used New Model (Convertible) SS Single Six. It's missing a Second WMR Cylinder.
I confirmed with Ruger that it does in fact use one.
Telephoned RI Plant and they have a Temp. Hold on selling Cylinders, which require
a return to Ruger and some Smithing to insure Correct Timing.
I'm willing to try one anyways. Serial # ends in 68024.
Ruger says to match up Serial Numbers if acquiring a Cylinder.
Does anyone know where I can find a New WMR Cylinder in SS ?

Welcome to the forum.
Just keep an eye on the classifieds here and on Gunbroker. You can post a Want To Buy (WTB) in the classifieds on what you want. Measure your existing cylinder and try to find one as close to its OAL as possible.

Has anyone tried Firing a WMR in the Wrangler Pistol ?
I see that the Mag Cylinder Fits and seems to Cycle properly.
I'm thinking that it wouldn't be safe due to the higher gas pressure
and the design of the barrel. Any anecdotal evidence out there to
support my theory ?

Pressure is the same as a .22lr. Look here: SAAMI
