The front sight base looks interesting, maybe some detailed machining work, there? (Edit: I see now that the base was clearly added. Couldn't see that last night, even though I "knew" that's what was going on…)

I DO think it's kind of neat, but no danger of me doing this to mine! 😝

THE MOST reliable 22 auto I have ever dealt with is the Ruger MK.

I would buy one in a minute.

Volquartsen makes a MKIV 3" that is very tempting but kind of pricey.
