Almost forty years ago bought a 4" SS Security-Six. A very good friend and master gunsmith showed me how to do a very nice action job. That revolver had to go down the road due to a bad marriage/divorce. Managed to buy another much later and although my friend had by that time left this world I remembered his lessons and tuned it up accordingly.

Fast forward a few decades - another very good friend was looking for something like that and because he had gone above and beyond in a number of ways I sold it to him.

By accident that same friend found out I've been dealing with seller's remorse for five years. He felt bad and Saturday I happily swapped him a S&W 66-1 even up.

My baby is back.

I had one back in the early 80's but sold it to buy an 8" Colt Python. Many years later,10+, I got a sellers remorse when I saw a SS 2 3/4" at a gun show. Bought it. But it didn't stop there. I began accumulating & now have 9, plus a police service 6 & government NIS marked speed six.

Several years ago a coworker wanted a short barreled .357 so I traded him my stainless 2-3/4" Speed Six straight up for his mid 80's 6" stainless Colt King Cobra. Later he needed some money so I bought the Speed Six back for $250, I origally bought it for $200. Still have both plus some more Speed and Security Sixes, including a blue low back Speed Six and a NIB blue 6" Security Six.

My first Security Six was stolen in 1983. My NRA insurance paid me enough to buy another six-inch SS and a 10/22. :)
A couple of years later a buddy of mine was bugging me to sell it to him because his wife liked shooting it. I reluctantly sold it to him on the condition he sell it back if he got tired of it. Yep, they got a divorce and she got possession of my gun. :ROFLMAO:
