…new to me anyways. ;)

Came across this 1990 10/22 Deluxe Sporter DSP-TBZ. It was the first year that the Sporter received a laminate stock. Complete and new in the box, although the box has seen better days. I usually stick to the carbines, but the offer was to good to pass up, so it now resides with the hoard. :)

Thanks for the info. I haven't figured out the TBZ/BBZ thing yet other than the color pattern for both is called "tree bark" (although I've heard it called by other names). The carbine that's coming is a few years newer than the Sporter.

Here's a old picture of mine. The top one is a K10/22RBIBBZ that I purchased from Walmart in 1997 when they were closing them out. It's still NIB. It shipped in 1995. The bottom one is a K10/22RB-BBZ that I purchased used in 2015. It shipped in 1996. I would love to have blue versions of these but I have way too many 10/22s as it is.

Well - if you really do feel that you have too many 10/22s, maybe we could talk and I might relieve you a couple, like the RBI---

Beautiful rifles. Think the laminates really shine! Adds a lot of figure to the stocks. Thanks for sharing.
