I have a MKII with a rear sight that will only move so far to one side.
Not sure if this would come apart to maybe fix a burr or??
I just need it to go a bit more to get it right.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

what part are you trying to move?? the sight blade or the sight body itself??
It can all come apart, clean up, deburr, whatever make sure the spring is on the point ( hook) of the blade, and the track is clear.....put it all back together, center the sight body to the receiver and the blade to the slot itself,,,,then adjust left or right as needed.

So the entire assembly can be pivoted when the main screw is loosened?
Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.
there is no "main screw" in a adjustable rear sight...there is the elevation screw, the windage screw, and in some models a small "set screw" to lock down the sight body in the dovetail slot........pin in the front to allow the sight to pivot up and down in the slot of the sight body, in a revolver, the slot in the top strap is the "slot/sight body".......
again, just what are YOU trying to "move"??? :?

Ahh I see now..
The real small screw can be loosened and I can move the whole sight over a bit.
That was just way too easy.
Loosen tiny slotted screw, tap sight with a piece of wood and hammer, and voila! Perfect!!
Thanks!
