When putting the 1911 on target from the draw, how do most people order the safety, trigger steps? Drop safety first then finger on trigger or simultaneously?

1. Sweep off the safety as you bring the gun up.
2. Sights on target.
3. Finger on trigger.

At least that's how I learned it from Ray Chapman.
I believe Cooper taught the same.

Those nice three steps appear so good when you are standing on your hind legs in a perfect weaver stance. Now try it when you're lying in the muck, it's dark as sin, and your hands are so slippery from said muck that it requires two hands to draw and disengage the safety.
