I'm hopeful Ruger will make a carbine version of the Wrangler like the Heritage Rancher, won't hold my breath, but it'd be a great little truck gun & I'd bet they'd sell.

What they need is one with a 10" bbl and a old western style detachable pistol brace.

For the price it's hard to beat the Wrangler. Always liked the bronze cerakote finish. But I prefer the click and ratchet system on the New Model Single Six. It just feels weird to have a free wheeling cylinder that can turn both directions with the loading gate open. Both are fine guns and as a bonus you can shoot .22 magnum in the Single Six with the spare cylinder.

I recently bought a Wrangler at a gun show locally for 175. I will try it out when the weather gets a bit better(warmer). I just had to have one. The box is marked as Black Cerakote and 4 5/8 inch. . Be neat if they made it as a combo!
